The Ambassador hosted lunch for Ambassador Phiane Philakone who is soon to depart Laos to take up his assignment as Lao Ambassador to the United States. Ambassador Phiane has most recently been Lao Ambassador to the Philippines for more than five years. Before that, he had a distinguished career in banking. |Feb. 14, 2007|
