The target audience is Lao secondary students. The materials to be produced will include a short booklet for students with a related video compact disk, a teacher’s manual, and a training of trainers module. These education materials or deliverables will include:
- A Student Booklet – approximately ten pages, written and well illustrated, to be used as supplemental education materials in Lao secondary schools. The booklet will be used in all 17 provinces with students ages 12-15 years old, and should have some regional specific content.
- An Instructional Video Compact Disk (VCD) - to be used with the Student Booklet.

- A Training of Trainers Module (TOT) - a short manual to be used to train teachers or other trainers who will use the Booklet and VCD in or out of schools.
These education materials will be integrated into a nationwide media campaign on drug education using a slogan and logo which will be provided to the grantee by the U.S. Embassy. All education materials above will be reviewed and approved by the Lao Ministry of Education and the Lao National Commission for Drug Control and Supervision.
