U.S. Embassy Representatives Take Part in ASEAN Mini-Marathon

U.S. Embassy representative William Gadoury helps pick a few lucky draw winners after the mini-marathon

William Gadoury of the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command and his wife Dengkham represented the U.S. Embassy at a mini-marathon on Saturday, July 21 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Laos’s accession to ASEAN and ASEAN's 40th anniversary. The Gadourys joined more than three hundred people in a walk from the Patouxay Victory Monument to the Presidential Palace and back. The Lao Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Phongsavath Boupha, the Ambassador of Singapore to Laos and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ms. Karen Tan, and many officials and representatives from international organizations participated the event.
