JPAC Activities

JPAC TEAMS DEPLOY TO THE LAO PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC

HICKAM AFB, HAWAII - Teams consisting of approximately 50 personnel departed Hickam AFB this morning to conduct investigative and recovery operations in Laos. The investigation team will be researching information associated with ten cases, while the remaining three recovery teams will be excavating sites associated with a burial, one ground loss, and three aircraft losses. This is the 99th Joint Field Activity in Laos.

Evidence from all missions will be transferred to the JPAC Central Identification Laboratory for further analysis and identification.
